Knoxville continued to grow their movement for living wages and union rights, as fast food workers walked off their job for 24 hours. Workers in Knoxville have been organizing for several years, and this was their largest strike yet. As the movement grows, workers get closer to winning a living wage and union rights.

On November 10th, 2015, fast food workers in Knoxville joined thousands of workers across the country in a strike for $15 an hour and the right to form a union without retaliation.
